Kendrick Lamar is bringing the heat and special guests for the Super Bowl LIX halftime performance.

This year’s highly anticipated Super Bowl championship game is set for Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA. Fans will witness history as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

While excitement builds for the big game, viewers are equally eager for this year’s halftime show.

Grammy Award-winning rapper and artist Kendrick Lamar will headline the performance, bringing his signature energy to the stage. He is expected to perform his chart-topping, Grammy-nominated single Not Like Us, which dominated the airwaves in 2024.

Lamar’s career skyrocketed last year following a heated rap battle with fellow artist Drake. The highly publicized feud drew global attention, and Not Like Us remained at the top of the charts for months.

This won’t be Lamar’s first time on the Super Bowl stage—he previously performed at Super Bowl LVI alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.

Halftime performances typically run between 12 and 15 minutes. With Usher using nearly the full 15 minutes for his set last year, it’s likely that Lamar will have a similar amount of time to deliver his show-stopping performance.

Adding to the excitement, Lamar has confirmed that singer-songwriter SZA will be joining him on stage. The duo, known for their hits All the Stars, Luther, and 30 for 30, are expected to deliver an unforgettable performance.

In addition to their Super Bowl collaboration, Lamar and SZA have announced an upcoming joint tour titled the Grand National Tour, set to kick off this spring.

Fans can catch the Super Bowl and the highly anticipated halftime show live on FOX, NFL+, Tubi, and YouTube TV.
