Jhené Aiko’ gives back to first responders after losing residence to Los Angeles wildfires
R&B singer and songwriter Jhené Aiko gives back to first responders after losing residence to Los Angeles wildfires.
The recent Los Angeles wildfires have wreaked havoc across Southern California, causing billions of dollars in damage, displacing over 150,000 residents, and tragically claiming 29 lives. Amidst the devastation, residents, including celebrities, are coming together to support relief efforts and give back to those affected.
Singer Jhené Aiko's wellness brand, Jhenetics, is stepping up by offering free massages to first responders battling the wildfires. In collaboration with the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and mobile massage service Manly Handz, Jhenetics aims to provide much-needed relief to firefighters and frontline workers who have been tirelessly combating the blazes.
Jhenetics will offer massage sessions using CBD-infused elixirs, body balms, and lotions to help alleviate muscle pain and stress. Aiko has emphasized the importance of showing gratitude to those risking their lives to protect the community.
"Thank you to our first responders, those who have spent days away from their families, working tirelessly to protect us. We hope this small gesture of gratitude makes a difference during these long shifts," Aiko shared on Instagram.
The wildfires have had a personal impact on Aiko as well. She lost her residence in the disaster, which destroyed thousands of homes. On January 9, Aiko revealed that her home had burned down and that she had lost all her belongings. Despite the loss, she reassured her followers that she and her children were safe.
In an uplifting message posted on Instagram, Aiko shared her thoughts and extended prayers to those affected by the fires.
"Praying for everyone this morning—those who lost their home, those who lost their life’s work, those who lost their life. Praying for my city. Praying for the wildlife and lost pets. Praying for the world 💙," she wrote.
As Los Angeles continues to recover from this disaster, efforts like Aiko’s serve as a reminder of the resilience and compassion that emerge in times of crisis.
