Beyoncé dazzles at Christmas NFL Halftime show in her Hometown of Houston

Arriving at the NRG stadium on a white stallion, legendary Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Beyoncé Knowles-Carter made a captivating entrance for her halftime show performance during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game.

The draw-dropping performance took place on Dec. 25, 2024, and was streamed live on Netflix. The 13-minute halftime show showcased the live debut of tracks from her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter

Carter dazzled in a series of authentic attire, including an all-white ensemble that consisted of a fur coat, cowboy hat, and bedazzled bodysuit. The performance featured special guests such as Shaboozey, Post Malone, and emerging Black country artists Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts.

‘16 Carriages’, ‘Blackbiird’, ‘Ya Ya’, ‘My House’, 'Spaghettii, 'Riiverdance,' and 'Sweet Honey Buckiin', 'Levii's Jeans', 'Jolene' and 'Texas Hold 'Em' were the songs performed during the show.

The central highlight of the show—and the moment that had social media buzzing—was the special appearance of her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who joined in the finale choreography.

An impressive 27 million viewers tuned in for the half-time show, making it the most-watched Christmas Day NFL game since 2001.

Following the event, Netflix released the performance as a special, allowing fans to rewatch the "Beyoncé Bowl" at their convenience. The performance can also be found on YouTube, with other snippets appearing on various social media platforms.

Netflix and the NFL’s impactful collaboration signifies a significant move for the streaming platform into live sports broadcasting, aiming to capture large audiences with high-profile events.

Fans of Beyoncé, also known as the "BeyHive," are eagerly anticipating the announcement of her worldwide Cowboy Carter tour following the performance. Social media is buzzing with speculation that the tour will be announced sometime this year.
