Stellar Gospel Music Awards Celebrate 40 Years of Sound, Spirit and Legacy

The soulful heartbeat of gospel music is taking over Nashville as the 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards returns for a monumental celebration of faith, culture and sound.

Hosted by gospel legends BeBe and CeCe Winans, this year’s awards honor the trailblazers, storytellers, and voices that continue to shape the genre.

The main ceremony will be taped live on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, with a full weekend of Stellar+ Experience events running from Aug. 14–16.

Presented by the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA), the show has spotlighted the best in gospel music since 1985. From show-stopping performances to heartfelt tributes, the Stellar Awards remain one of the most anticipated moments in Black music and ministry each year.

According to the Gospel Music Association, this year’s performers include Adia, Pastor Mike Jr., Maverick City Music, Jonathan McReynolds, Tamela Mann, J.J. Hairston, and many more. Expect a night filled with dynamic worship, praise, and celebration of Black excellence in music.

The Stellar Gospel Music Awards will be available to stream on Sling TV, Hulu Live TV, Fubo, DirecTV Stream, and YouTube TV. A televised broadcast will air later this year on BET.
