Simone Biles Shines at 2025 ESPY Awards, Continuing Her Legacy of Excellence
Simone Biles turned heads at the 2025 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, arriving at the Dolby Theatre in a dazzling blue gown alongside her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens.
The star-studded event, broadcast live on ABC and ESPN+, was hosted by comedian Shane Gillis and celebrated the year’s most honorable athletes, teams and newsworthy moments in sports.
Biles, fresh off a triumphant return to Olympic competition, added to her legacy by taking home two ESPY Awards: Best Championship Performance for her all-around win at the 2024 Paris Olympics and Best Athlete in Women’s Sports.
The seven-time Olympic medalist earned gold in the team all-around, individual all-around and vault events in Paris, as well as a silver medal in the floor exercise.
Her performance not only solidified her comeback but also affirmed her place in sports history as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
With Wednesday's wins, Biles now has seven ESPY Awards to her name, according to People. Biles is projected to have more honors on the horizon as she continues to set new standards in the sport.
Biles shared her ESPYs look on Instagram, crediting designer Zac Posen and ATHLETA for the sleek, embellished gown. Owens coordinated in a fashionable black ensemble, accented with a white blazer, gold chain and red rose.
From her Olympic victories to red carpet moments, Biles continues to exemplify what it means to lead with grace, strength and purpose. Her legacy as a champion extends beyond the mat, serving as a lasting inspiration for generations to come.
