From Love & Hip Hop to Grammy-winning rapper, Bronx native Cardi B has never shied away from the commotion.

This time, she’s back with her highly anticipated sophomore album, asking, “AM I THE DRAMA?”

Cardi is channeling her “that girl” energy on her new album, released Sept. 19, seven years after her debut album “Invasion of Privacy.” She’s bringing the heat, addressing beef, shaking the table and transforming her real-life experiences into rhythm and poetry.

She opened the album with “Dead,” featuring Summer Walker. A bold start to the project, giving off loud, demanding energy. “I'm collecting body bags like they purses, I don’t even rap no more, I drive hearses,” she raps.

Setting the tone for the entire album, she buries all the hate and haters, clapping back and putting a stop to it all.

To feed off that energy, just a few tracks down on “Magnet”, Cardi B is proving she isn’t ducking any smoke.

In her chorus, she raps, “I know these h*** is mad, it’s time for h*** to gag, I’m putting belt to a**”; she even takes a jab at City Girls rapper JT. Commenting on JT’s relationship with rapper Lil Uzi Vert.

The diss tracks don’t stop there; Cardi takes it to her song, "Pretty & Petty," where she doesn’t let up on the rapper BIA, with whom she has an ongoing feud.

Coming out the gates swinging, she raps, “Name five BIA songs gun to your head, baow, I'm dead, that melatonin flow putting us to bed.”

She continues to diss BIA’s looks, career and weight in the rap industry. Using her rivals as fuel to the flame in which she spits on her tracks.

But rap beef isn’t the only thing Cardi spoke about on this album; she let listeners in on her marriage with her ex-husband, rapper Offset.

Track 9, “Man Of Your Word,” details the multiple times where she took Offset back when she shouldn’t have. However, she expresses that she doesn’t regret it because she gave him a son, which is a blessing.

“Last time you f***** up, said I was done, F***** up again, I took you back, s***, I was dumb. I held back for you; was really biting my tongue. Should've fell back from you, instead, I gave you a son,” said Cardi.

She explains that not everything in her marriage was bad; she even had moments where she lacked.

“There’s skeletons in my closet too; it wasn’t all bags. As a wife, I should’ve realized when you was hurt, but instead I put my music first, damn,” Cardi rapped.

She further spoke about infidelity and wished Offset well, stating, “I really hope you find love, I hope you find a good spirit, I hope she satisfy your needs and everything I didn’t.”

While that chapter has closed, another one has opened. Cardi has found herself in a new relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, with whom she recently announced she is expecting her fourth child.

She has a few songs on her album that fans speculate are about her relationship with Diggs. These include “Pick It Up” featuring Selena Gomez and “Safe” featuring Kehlani, for which she also released a music video.

Cardi B has tagged along a few other features, including Lizzo, Cash Cobain, Lourdiz, Tyla, Janet Jackson, and Megan Thee Stallion on songs that match every mood.

Following her album release, Cardi is expected to headline her own tour, “Little Miss Drama Tour,” starting on Feb. 11. She will be touring across U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C, Atlanta and many more.

“AM I THE DRAMA?” is bringing the energy that many expected from Cardi. Between addressing her critics head-on to delivering messages to past lovers through her artistry, Cardi is unapologetically her, bold, fearless, savage and on point.

Her new album can be found on all major music streaming platforms, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, TIDAL, SoundCloud and more. Fans can also sign up for her tour presale now through Sept. 21 via this link.
