Lasting Legacy Edition 2025: Honoring 12 Black Gen-Z and Zillennial Leaders Shaping the Future
Secrets & Legacy Media is celebrating the leaders who are defining what it means to build a legacy in the modern era.
As 2025 comes to a close, the publication is proud to announce the End of Year Lasting Legacy Edition, honoring 12 Black Gen-Z and Zillennial trailblazers whose vision, creativity and commitment to community have left a lasting mark on culture and change.
This special digital edition will spotlight young Black innovators, creators and professionals whose voices have driven meaningful conversations and inspired progress. From activists and entrepreneurs to artists, journalists and community builders, each honoree represents the power of this generation to lead with purpose and redefine what legacy looks like.
Recognizing the Next Generation of Black Excellence
The Lasting Legacy Edition will highlight individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who have demonstrated exceptional impact in their fields. Whether they are uplifting their communities through social change, leading creative revolutions, or breaking barriers in business, media, and the arts, these honorees embody the values that drive the mission of Secrets & Legacy Media—to amplify Black stories with integrity, depth, and intention.
Honoree Features and Recognition
Selected honorees will receive:
A full feature article showcasing their story, work, and influence
An exclusive interview with Secrets & Legacy Media’s editorial team
A collaborative social media post shared across the brand’s platforms
Through this recognition, Secrets & Legacy Media aims to create lasting visibility for the next generation of Black excellence while providing a platform that honors their voices and amplifies their impact.
How to Submit a Nomination
Submissions are open to the public. Nominees must:
Identify as Black or of African descent
Be between the ages of 18 and 35 as of December 31, 2025
Demonstrate measurable impact within their field (community work, creative excellence, entrepreneurship, advocacy, or innovation)
Exhibit leadership, integrity, and dedication to uplifting the Black community
Submission Requirements
To nominate yourself or someone else, please include:
Full name, age, and city of residence
Professional title and/or field of work
A short bio (150–200 words)
A summary of achievements or contributions (up to 300 words)
A high-resolution photo (minimum 1080x1080 px)
(Optional) Links to social media, website, or press features
All submissions must be sent to Editor@secretsandlegacy.com by November 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Selected honorees will be featured in Secrets & Legacy Media’s Lasting Legacy Edition, a special digital issue celebrating the voices defining this generation and the future of Black culture.
Honorees will also receive an exclusive interview, a highlight in our newsletters and two complimentary tickets to our 2026 Anniversary Gala Celebration.
