Protests continued on Monday as Trump ordered more National Guard Troops to be deployed in D.C. On Aug. 18, organizers from the Free DC project, an organization that has been dedicated to protecting D.C. Home Rule since President Trump took office in January, held a rally and press conference at the corner of 14th and the historic U Street.
