Third time’s a charm, especially for a highly anticipated album from R&B singer Ella Mai.

The Grammy-winning artist announced she will release her third studio album, Do You Still Love Me?, on Feb. 6, 2026, marking her long-awaited return to music and the beginning of a new era shaped by growth and self-reflection.

Mai recently teased the project with a visual clip posted online, showing her lying on a lawn chair in a black dress, braids flowing, as she softly delivers poetic lyrics. The teaser previews her new song “100,” set to drop Jan. 14.

This will be Mai’s third studio LP, and fans are eager to hear the lyrical story she plans to tell this time. The album is expected to include 14 tracks, with lead singles “Tell Her” and “Little Things,” both previously released on her 2024 EP 3. The project is executive-produced by Mustard.

The singer may take listeners back to the beginning of her journey if she incorporates elements of her earlier sound—slow-burning melodies and timeless storytelling that helped define her rise in R&B.

In 2014, the singer took a leap of faith and officially entered the music industry. After studying music extensively in London and auditioning for The X Factor, her career gained momentum following a viral discovery that led to her signing with Mustard’s label and releasing a series of successful EPs. Her breakout single, “Boo’d Up,” released in 2018, became a cultural moment and earned her a Grammy Award for best R&B song in 2019.

Her self-titled debut album, Ella Mai, solidified her place in the genre with standout tracks such as “Trip,” “Shot Clock” and “Naked.”

She followed with Heart on My Sleeve, which featured fan favorites including “Trying,” “Not Another Love Song” and “How,” further showcasing her consistency and growth as an artist.

Across both albums, Mai collaborated with artists including Latto, Roddy Ricch, Chris Brown and H.E.R., expanding her reach while remaining rooted in traditional R&B.

Beyond music, Mai has entered a new chapter in her personal life. In mid-2024, she welcomed a son with NBA star Jayson Tatum, a reveal that surprised fans after the couple kept the pregnancy private.

The couple introduced their son, Deuce, when Mai held him during Tatum’s 2024 Paris Olympics gold medal celebration, sparking widespread attention online.

Speaking recently about motherhood, the “Boo’d Up” singer joked that her son is already showing signs of being a “singing hooper,” according to KISS XTRA.

As Ella Mai steps into this next era, Do You Still Love Me? is expected to reflect both personal evolution and the signature sound that first connected her to the culture.
